IN CHARACTER

AFFECTION Anne is Very Prickly and will not respond well to any kind of affection from anyone she doesn't completely trust (i.e. anyone who isn't Jack Rackham). You can go ahead, but just know she will not like it.

VIOLENCE Anne is supremely violent and is capable of performing calm, collected murder at a split second's notice. She's also an accomplished swordfighter and carries knives on her person at all times. She knows what she's doing and is also extremely quick to anger with a response that may seem disproportionate to the situation from an outsider's point of view, and the only person who can really talk her out of it is Jack. So, go with god on this one but just know she's a tough cookie.

SHIPPING Anne is for all intents and purposes a lesbian, though she is also permanently entwined with Jack Rackham in every way you could possibly think of. I'm happy to ship with Anne, but it'd be a very slow burn to get her to open up, and Jack will pretty much always be involved in the conversation.

PSYCHIC AND MAGICAL INFO Anne's just a regular old human being, so nothing special on this front. Feel free to read her mind or whatever.

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGGING Always! I function by backtagging so I more than understand if things get picked up and dropped here and there. Handwaving stuff that drags on for too long will always and forever be an option.

FOURTHWALLING Anne is a heavily fictionalised version of a real-life pirate, so I'm happy for folks to recognise her by name and know of some of her deeds if that's in character. I don't really jive with 'fictional character' fourthwalling, though.

Anne is intimately familiar with violence and sexual violence against women and it informs a lot about how she sees the world, as she was married at a very young age to an abusive man.
